• My name is Angela Rathjen and I love what I do!  I have been teaching math and science in the Lindbergh School District at Sperreng and Truman Middle Schools since I moved to St. Louis ten years ago.  I moved here from Nashville to be closer to my family and to attend Cardinal baseball games (go Cards!).  I am originally from Murphysboro, IL (near Carbondale) and I earned my B.S. in elementary education and my M.S. in curriuculum and instruction (middle school emphasis) from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale.  I completed my Ed.S. degree in educational leadership from Webster University.
Before I moved to St. Louis, I taught in the Nashville area of Tennessee for eight years in 4th and 6th grades.  I am certified to teach all subjects, and I have!  I taught science for seven years while I lived in Nashville, and I am excited to be teaching it again.  I really love physical science because it uses math - my other love!
I currently live in Arnold with my husband, our son, my step-daughters, and our pets.  St. Louis Cardinals
