Degrees and Certifications:

Ms. Kizer

Hello!  I am excited to be directing the orchestras here at Lindbergh High School, as well as teaching and assisting with strings at several of our elementary and middle schools.  I graduated from Lindbergh in 2009, after attending Crestwood Elementary and Sperreng Middle.  During my time as a student in this district, my love of string music and teaching was inspired by my wonderful orchestra teachers, including Ms. Michelle Howard and Mrs. Sue Rola.  After graduation I went on to earn my Bachelor of Music Education at Missouri State University, then my Master of Music Education with Violin Emphasis at the University of Oklahoma, where I completed a thesis on the topic of fiddle music in the public schools.  I spent the first three years of my professional career teaching orchestra at a Fine Arts Academy in Austin, Texas.  I am honored now to return to my home district to carry on the tradition of excellence within the orchestra program here.
