International Thespian Society
Thespian Troupe #2533 is Lindbergh High School's chapter of the International Thespian Society. It is open to any student, grades 9-12, who is interested in any aspect of theatre, including onstage performance, student directing, stage management, lighting, sound, costumes, make-up, set construction, etc. Thespians are students who have accumulated 10 points in two of five categories (acting, production, writing, directing, or business), one community service point with the Thespian Troupe (Trick-Or-Treat-So-Tots-Can-Eat, Caroling for Critters), and pay a one-time fee of $25.
Points are earned through participation in any of the six after school productions that occur each year, including the fall play, fall improv show, 24 hour play festival, winter musical, spring senior directed one-acts, and spring improv show. Thespians and non-Thespians may also attend the annual Missouri State Thespian Conference in January each year. Meetings are held the first Monday of each month in room 414.
