LHS Collecting Items for Homeless Shelter

February 6, 2017

Lindbergh High School Student Council members will brave the cold from 6-9:30 p.m. on Feb. 11, as they host “Homeless for a Night” and collect items to benefit Gateway180 homeless shelter. Students will gather in front of the LHS Auditorium, 5000 S. Lindbergh Blvd., and collect much-needed products to help fill the shelter’s shelves.

All members of the Lindbergh community are invited to participate by dropping off items in front of the auditorium on Saturday night. Gateway180, a shelter located in St. Louis, is in need of the following:
  • bath towels, wash cloths and laundry detergent
  • baby products, especially wipes, formula and diapers
  • personal care items, including soap, shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes
  • New undergarments and gently used clothing
Gateway180 is the largest 24-hour emergency housing organization in Missouri. Learn more at www.gateway180.org.
